Going on Vacation?

With freezing temperatures right around the corner, it’s a good time to refresh ourselves on precautionary measures for drops in temperature and cold weather.
The Four P’s to Prepare your Home this Winter:
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of $584,000 in grant funding to the Harris County Fresh Water Supply District 1A (Harris County) from the Water Loan Assistance Fund (WLAF) for the construction of water system improvements.
With the financial assistance approved today through the WLAF, the district will replace its manual meters with automated water meters and add 22 fire hydrants.
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, and agricultural water conservation projects.
