FWSD1a proudly collaborated with Harris County Precinct 2’s Keep2Clean Program to help keep our community clean. Directors Fretty, Gonzales and Tousant participated in this community outreach initiative, demonstrating their commitment to a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful community.
Hurricane Season Preparedness – Stay Ready
HCFWSD 1A Customers: We are now in the heart of hurricane season. Please take time this week to review your hurricane preparedness plans:
- Stock at least 1 gallon of drinking water per person per day for 7 days.
- Keep water utility account info handy in case of service updates.
- Locate your water shutoff valve in case of flooding or line breaks.
- Secure outdoor items that could damage water meters or utility boxes.
For storm updates, monitor official sources such as the National Weather Service and local emergency management. Keep MOC (water utility) number handy in the case of a water/sewer emergency: 281-367-5511
Even if a storm is not on the horizon today, preparation is the key to safety.
